This preset is a collection of elements designed for creating various objects within an office space. It includes settings and parameters for creating glass walls, glass doors, invisible and standard doors, folding walls, entrance doors, etc.

Each element has unique properties such as height, width, depth, handle options, and other customizable features. The preset offers flexibility in adjusting these elements to meet the requirements and design of the office space.

The accompanying manual provides detailed instructions on using the script based on this preset. It guides on how to utilize each element, customize their parameters, and combine different elements to create desired configurations and layouts. This manual assists in maximizing the efficiency of the preset, enabling the creation of office interiors using the provided elements.

Applying Wallie+ to your project.

To utilize Wallie+ RailClone, you simply need to follow these steps:

First, select the Wallie+ RailClone object. Then, navigate to the "Base Objects" tab and click on "None" to activate spline selection mode. From there, choose your desired spline in the viewport.

For easy customization, all the parameters you need are conveniently located in the "Parameters" tab.

Materials

Wallie has a single multi-material, as shown in the image below. However, you have the flexibility to easily change the materials by connecting your own materials to the respective Material ID's.

For example, by connecting your material to ID1 (1)[1-20] Walls, you can change the material for all walls from ID 1 to ID 20.

ID1/ID2. Basic wall and curved wall.

Simple walls are created using ID1 and ID2. ID1 is best suited for creating straight wall sections, while ID2 is used for curved walls.

Wall parameters:

[H] Walls. The height of the wall from the floor to the header.

[H] Wall Header. The height of the header itself. If the value is set to 0 - the header will be turned off. (upd in v1.1.0)

[T] Walls. The thickness of the walls.

ID3/ID4. Glass Doors

Doors are located on ID3 and ID4. ID3 represents a door with a handle on the right, while ID4 represents a door with a handle on the left. All doors in this development stage are from the Glass System product line at https://glasssystem.com/.
Glass doors are adaptive and include two options: single-leaf doors and double-leaf doors. Double-leaf doors automatically appear when the length of the spline segment exceeds 120cm.

Parameters for glass doors:

[Var] Glass Doors. You can choose from several door styles. Currently, all doors are glass and available in multiple types: Purian, Purian Akustic, Urban Slim, Glass Door, and Wooden Door.

[H] Glass Door. Height of the glass door

[D] Glass Doors. The installation depth of the door

[?] Glass Doors Header. Enable or disable the header above the door

[H] Glass Door Header. Height of the header above the door

At the junction of the door and the glass wall, you have the option to choose whether or not to have a profile. This is useful if you want to create a header ([?] Glass Doors Header) above the doors without side frames. To achieve this, select the spline in Vertex mode (or press "1" on the keyboard), choose the desired vertex (point), right-click on it, and select Bezier-Corner. Bezier-Corner disables the side glass profiles at the selected location.

Note that the door styles [Var] Glass Doors can be different from the glass wall styles [Var] Glass Walls. This is done for greater preset versatility. For example, if you want a door with a 10cm profile and glass with a 5cm profile, you can always align them on the same axis or align them with the wall.

The [?] Glass Doors Header above the door is considered part of the glazing, not the door itself. Therefore, if you recess the door [D] Glass Doors into the wall, you should also recess the [D] Glass Walls to the same depth.

To change the door type, select the RailClone object and in the side menu under the "Parameters" section, find the parameter "[Var] Glass Doors".

ID5/ID6. Glass Walls and Curved Glass Walls

ID5 and ID6 are used to create glass walls. ID5 represents straight wall sections, while ID6 is specifically for curved walls.

For best experience turn the spline interpolation to "Adaptive".

Parameters for glass walls:

[Var] Glass Walls Profile. (new in 1.1.0) Types of glass profile. Currently, there are 4 types of profiles: GSW Office, GSW Office FR, GSW Office Plus, GSW Office Plus FR.

[Var] Glass Walls Type. (new in 1.1.0) Glass walls come in 3 types: standard, with a rubber seal between the glass panels, and with a modular grid.

[Var] Glass Grid Type. (new in 1.1.0) Grids come in 2 types: Inner Grid and Outer Grid.
[D] Glass Walls. The installation depth of the glass wall. Typically, the depth is set to be the same as the installation depth of the door [D] Glass Doors.

[W] Glass Panels. The width of a single glass panel. This is an approximate value, as the number of panels is adaptive, and their width may slightly vary to fit an equal number of panels on the wall. It works with grids too.

The height of the glass is controlled by the door height variable [H] Glass Doors combined with the door header height [H] Glass Doors Header (if activated).

At the junction of straight and curved sections of the glass wall, you have the option to choose whether or not to have a profile. This is useful if you want to create a header ([?] Glass Doors Header) above the doors without side frames. To achieve this, select the spline in Vertex mode (manually or press "1" on the keyboard), choose the desired vertex (point), right-click on it, and select Bezier-Corner. Bezier-Corner disables the side glass profiles at the selected location.

If you want to maintain the curve of the glass but keep the profiles visible, make the vertices Bezier.

ID7. Divider Column

A divider column is created using ID7. The column does not have any specific parameters and inherits the height and thickness from the glass door. You can use the column to place switches, thermostats, conference room reservation systems, and other elements on it.

ID8/ID9. Hidden Door.

The hidden door is located on ID8 and ID9. ID8 represents a door with a handle on the left, while ID9 represents a door with a handle on the right.

Parameters for hidden doors:

[H] Hidden Doors. The height of the door.

[D] Hidden Doors. The installation depth of the door. Typically, these doors are installed flush with the wall, but this parameter allows for flexibility in adjusting the installation depth

[?] Hidden Door Header. On/off header over the Hidden Door. (new in v1.1.0)

ID10/ID11. Base Door.

The base door is located on ID10 and ID11. ID10 represents a door with a handle on the left, while ID11 represents a door with a handle on the right.

The base door is a door with a visible frame. The depth of the frame is adaptive and adjusts to the thickness of the base wall [T] Walls.

Parameters for base doors:

[H] Base Doors. The height of the door

[?] Base Door Header. On/off header over the Base Door. (new in v1.1.0)

ID12/ID13. Entrance Door.

The left-opened entrance door is located on ID12 The right-opened is on ID13. This type of door is perfect for office entrances. It is fire-rated and therefore has sufficiently thick profiles. (v.1.1.0: Model is updated. Glass now has no seams, as it was in v1.0.0)

The entrance door is adaptive and has three variations:

Up to 120cm: Single-leaf door.
From 120cm to 220cm: Double-leaf door.
Above 220cm: Double-leaf door with two windows on the sides. In the widest variation, the double-leaf door will always be centered within the segment and positioned between two equal-sized windows. The header can be included.

Parameters for the entrance door:

[H] Entrance Doors: The height of the entrance door without the header.

[D] Entrance Doors

[?] Entrance Header: Enable/disable the header above the doors.

[H] Entrance Doors Header: The height of the header.

ID14/ID15/ID16. Folding Walls.

Folding walls are divided into three IDs: ID13 represents the complete structure of a folding wall with rails and wall panels. ID14 creates the rails on which the walls should be moved. ID15 represents the parked walls.

The walls can be in a folded or unfolded state ([?] Fold the Wall). Folded walls will not be visible on ID13 (Look for example on GIF below), but they will appear on ID15. ID15 should not be very long because the parked walls are positioned end-to-end along ID15. ID14, serving as rails for wall parking, extend from the ID13 wall to the location of the wall parking area on ID15.

The rail structure can be hidden behind the wall and wall header [?] Folding Wall Rail Cover.

The thickness of folding walls is determined by the thickness of the base wall.

Parameters for folding walls:

[H] Folding Doors: The height of the folding wall.

[W] Folding Panels: The width of the folding panel.

[?] Folding Wall Rail Cover: Hide or show the structures that hold the rails for the walls.

[?] Fold the Wall: Fold or unfold the wall. A folded wall is visible on ID15 but not on ID13, while an unfolded wall is the opposite: visible on ID13 and not visible on ID15.

If you want to create a T-shaped wall, as shown in the picture below, you'll probably want to remove the side module that finishes the wall. To do this, select the vertex and change its type to bezier-corner. If you need that side module - make sure that the vertex is Corner.

ID17/ID18. Doorway and Curved Doorway.

ID17 represents a standard doorway in the wall, while ID18 represents a curved doorway. These elements can be used to create actual doorways or to incorporate other elements inside them that are not included in this preset, such as coffee points.

Parameters for the doorways:

[H] Doorway Height

ID19/ID20. Niches.

ID19 creates a straight niche in the wall, while ID20 creates a curved niche. The niche can be adjusted in terms of height, footer height, and depth. Due to limitations in RailClone (or perhaps I misunderstood something :)), there is a small issue with connecting the straight and curved sections of the niche. This can be resolved by converting the point at their junction to Bezier-Corner mode. In this case, the inner side walls at the junction will be disabled, resulting in a seamless and beautiful curved niche.

"Corner" enables the inner side walls inside the niche, while "Bezier-Corner" disables them.

Parameters for the niches:

[H] Niche Header: Determines the height of the upper surface of the niche.

[H] Niche Footer: Height of the wall portion below the niche.

[D] Niche: Depth of the niche.

ID21/ID22. Wardrobes.

Wardrobes have two IDs: ID21 represents a door with a handle on the right, and ID22 represents a door with a handle on the left. The workflow for creating wardrobes is as follows: the spline is divided into several equal segments (it is best to use the "Divide" function in the Geometry section of the spline editor to ensure perfectly equal segments). Each of the resulting segments is assigned an ID depending on the direction in which the handles should be oriented in the project. Additionally, the wardrobes can have a depth and a footer height.

Parameters for wardrobes:

[Var] Wardrobe Handle: Defines the handle type. There are 8 types of handles for now.

[H] Wardrobe: Height of the wardrobe

[H] Wardrobe Footer: Height of the wardrobe footer

[D] Wardrobe Footer: Depth of the wardrobe footer
